Motul’s brake fluid range includes everything from brake fluids DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1, and also Racing Brake Fluids. With a variety of applications, from normal to extreme conditions, and for cars with or without ABS an ESP systems, Motul has you covered.
DOT 3 and 4
Most vehicles require DOT 3 and 4 to keep their brakes in top working condition. it has most commonly been known as the universal brake fluid thanks to its wide range of applications and compatibility with DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 non-silicone fluids. That’s why we stock a range of sizes to match your needs, 500ml, 1L and even 5L bottles!
DOT 4 LV
Motul’s DOT 4 LV is a low viscosity brake fluid with a higher boiling point compared to DOT 3 and 4, and outstanding performance in lower temperatures. This is a must have for those with a need for more extreme use. We stock this in 500ml bottles.
DOT 5.1
Motul’s DOT 5.1 is an upgrade from the more commonly used DOT 3 and 4. It again has a higher boiling point compared to other DOT 3 and 4 fluids. We stock this in 500ml, 1L, and 5L bottles.
Motul has a small range of racing brake fluids designed to withstand the extreme temperatures of racing and minimalise the air vents required to the brakes, improving aerodynamic drag. This range is specifically designed for carbon and ceramic racing brake systems but can also be used on conventional steel brake systems.
All of Motul’s RBF range have a typical wet boiling point of 205°C/401°F which is considerably higher than conventional DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 brake fluids. The difference between the three products is the typical dry boiling points.
RBF600 - 312°C/594°F
RBF660 - 325°C/617°F
RBF700- 336°C/637°F
These are all available in 500ml bottles.
