Using our 20+ years of experience in supplying aftermarket suspension products, we have created our own in-house premium upgraded front control arms for the Ford Fiesta ST and ST200 (2013-2017).

Utilising Febest control arms and excellent ball joints as the base platform, we've fitted Powerflex's offset vertical pivoting bushes, which feature on-car adjustability for easy dialing in your preferred caster alignment settings and their Black Series front bushes. However, these are not just normal front bushes, they feature camber bolts within them which allows for additional camber adjustment which you do not get on standard arms. This means you can reach new levels of fun with ease.

We've used stainless steel tubes throughout and the arms have already been pre-assembled with plenty of Powerflex's silicone bush grease for easy fitment and long-term reliability. Simply unbolt the old arms, bolt on the Octane arms, complete a full wheel alignment, and enjoy.

We also offer a standard alignment version of these arms which are OCT1046.

Why adjust camber?

More negative camber = more fun! Improves the tyre's contact patch with the road which will further improve steering grip and traction.

Why increase caster?

The offset Powerflex tubes add +0.5 degrees of caster per side for an overall increase of 1 degree. This effectively moves the front wheels very slightly further forward. By increasing the static caster and dynamic negative camber gain, these arms will improve cornering grip, increase steering weight, improve straight-line stability and give you greater enjoyment for attacking corners.

Why Powerflex?

Polyurethanes have been with us since the late 1930s, however, recent advances have now made it possible to engineer very special properties into this exciting material. 

Suspension bushes are some of the most highly stressed components fitted to a motor car. They undergo enormous strains and in the most arduous of conditions with no maintenance or lubrication. 

The material they are manufactured from is a rubber compound containing natural products that deteriorate with age. It becomes softer and more pliable, resisting the forces placed on it less and less. Therefore allowing more and more movement of suspension components and offering less and less control over the suspension geometry.

This in turn causes accelerated tyre wear, braking instability, and poor handling. This is the single biggest reason you can instantly tell the difference driving a three-year-old car compared to a showroom new one. However, even new cars will benefit from POWERFLEX bushes because of the superior design they offer much more effective control of the suspension components to a much greater extent than normal rubber items.

With the technological advances in this material, it has been possible to overcome the common problem associated with harder bushes which is increased noise. By correctly engineering the polyurethane compound, bushes can be made 25-30% stiffer than new rubber items but with exactly the same noise absorbing properties.

Octane Warranty / Guarantee

Octane's upgraded arms come with our 2-year or 24,000 mile warranty. This warranty covers the cost of replacing the parts in the case of manufacturing defects, material defects and is subject to a Fair Use assessment.

UK Deliveries

UK Mainland: We are offering free standard shipping on all orders over £50 which may take 1-4 days. Orders under £50 will be charged at £4.95. Alternatively, you can also choose a Next Day service for £7.85. We send all standard deliveries via Parcelforce and next day services can be either Parcelforce, DHL, FedEx or UPS. All services are fully tracked.

Do you ship aboard (outside the UK)?

Yes we do. To almost anywhere in the World but please be aware that shipping charges are often high when shipping anything bulky. Our overseas orders are usually shipped with DHL, FedEx or UPS so you can track your deliveries online. Deliveries to most European destinations usually take within 72 hours of despatch.

There are a few countries we do not ship to, some of these include Israel, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Nigeria, Macedonia, Syria, Ukraine, Lebanon.

Overseas Customs and Duty Charges

For all customers outside of the UK, the prices on this website will have 20% UK VAT Tax removed at the point of checkout (once you've entered your billing and shipping addresses). However you will likely have to pay some form of Duties / VAT prior to delivery of your goods. You are responsible for paying those charges. Failure to do so will result in the goods being returned to us. As the shipper, we will be charged again by the carrier to return the goods. This amount will be deducted from any refund you may be due.

If you are unsure of the customs and duty charges, we recommend you should contact your local authorities ahead of placing your order.

Stock Availability

We do our best to ensure our stock data is accurate on our website. If we're ordering parts to fulfil your order from other manufacturers or suppliers, there can be delays in them despatching goods which may affect the overall delivery time. We will endeavour to do our best to keep you informed if things don't go to plan. We estimate the likely despatch times when you're looking at each part number. Returns and Refunds

Thank you for purchasing products from Octane Distribution Ltd. We endeavour to offer the best quality products and aftersales care but if you do find yourself in the position where you would like to return goods, we are here to help.

We try our best to ensure correct product/vehicle listings but there are always exceptions to the rule and no cataloguing is 100% accurate. The best advice we can give is to visually check to see if any parts you have ordered fit BEFORE disassembling your vehicle. If you are unsure, please contact us for advice.

Products Incorrect / Damaged / Faulty
You must inform us of any damage or shortages within three working days of receipt. If items are missing from your order, it's most likely that they are on backorder and will be despatched when in stock. We are always happy to clarify this if you get in touch.

Products No Longer Required / Ordered by Mistake
You have 30 days to return unwanted items that are unused and in their original condition (including any packaging, tags and labels) with proof of purchase (i.e. a receipt or order confirmation email). Some exceptions may apply. You must always check with us first BEFORE returning the items and we will give you a returns number to help us with processing and identification. Items returned may be subjected to a restocking fee if the goods are damaged or show signs of having been used. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the items. Shipping costs are non-refundable and we would recommend using a tracked/insured courier service and we accept no liability for orders returned with no proof of delivery.
