The latest Smartstream 1.6 T-GDi engines fitted to Hyundai's i20 N and other models do not use a MAF sensor which means that you can vent to atmosphere for that blow-off sound, if you like, without causing any driveability issues or 'Check Engine' lights. However, this Mach 2 valve is for those who want all the performance of the GFB TMS valve technology without any of the noise.
That said, Mach 2 gives you the freedom to fit an optional Atmospheric Venting Conversion kit at a later date to give you all the sound so you don't need to buy a new valve.

Blow off sound not to your taste? Want something as “sleeper” as possible? Don’t want your partner to know you’ve stuck a turbo on the daily (again)? Then the GFB Mach 2 is the valve for you!
Using GFB’s TMS technology the Mach 2 can help return the engine to peak boost up to 30% faster than a factory diverter valve when shifting gears (more information below).
The Mach 2 is available in a range of universal and bolt-on kits for most popular turbo models. And when we say “bolt-on”, that’s exactly what we mean! No additional adaptors, parts or vehicle modifications are required – simply remove the factory bypass valve and replace it with the Mach 2 – it’s that simple!
The Mach 2 is configured as a 100% recirculating valve (i.e. bypass, plumb back) as a direct factory replacement, for when you want all the performance WITHOUT the noise!
Why replace the factory bypass valve? Better performance! Factory bypass valves typically have two main shortcomings – one is that they are often designed to blow open above a certain pressure to protect the engine (if you drive an EVO, take note and read this article!), and the other is they are not optimised for throttle response.
The Mach 2 solves both issues. With its pressure-balanced design, the Mach 2 can effectively hold unlimited boost (unlimited in that no turbo could ever produce enough pressure to damage it), and the TMS technology ensures maximum throttle response.

If the fault of occurred as a result of usage outside of the terms of the warranty, or you are not the original owner, fear not, we can still help you. You should never need to throw a GFB product away, as spare parts are available and won’t cost the earth.

When you contact us through our tech support email, you will be dealing directly with the engineers who actually design GFB products. They have more experience with the product than anyone on the planet to ensure you get the right advice.

UK Mainland: We are offering free standard shipping on all orders which may take 1-4 days. Alternatively, you can also choose a Next Day service for £7.85. We send all standard deliveries via Parcelforce and next day services can be either Parcelforce, DHL, FedEx or UPS. All services are fully tracked.
Do you ship aboard (outside the UK)?
Yes we do. To almost anywhere in the World but please be aware that shipping charges are often high when shipping anything bulky. Our overseas orders are usually shipped with DHL, FedEx or UPS so you can track your deliveries online. Deliveries to most European destinations usually take within 72 hours of despatch.

For all customers outside of the UK, the prices on this website will have 20% UK VAT Tax removed at the point of checkout (once you've entered your billing and shipping addresses). However you will likely have to pay some form of Duties / VAT prior to delivery of your goods. You are responsible for paying those charges. Failure to do so will result in the goods being returned to us. As the shipper, we will be charged again by the carrier to return the goods. Products Incorrect / Damaged / Faulty
You must inform us of any damage or shortages within three working days of receipt. If items are missing from your order, it's most likely that they are on backorder and will be despatched when in stock. We are always happy to clarify this if you get in touch.
Products No Longer Required / Ordered by Mistake
You have 30 days to return unwanted items that are unused and in their original condition (including any packaging, tags and labels) with proof of purchase (i.e. a receipt or order confirmation email). Some exceptions may apply. You must always check with us first BEFORE returning the items and we will give you a returns number to help us with processing and identification. Items returned may be subjected to a restocking fee if the goods are damaged or show signs of having been used. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the items. Shipping costs are non-refundable and we would recommend using a tracked/insured courier service and we accept no liability for orders returned with no proof of delivery.
